Get the most out of your shampoo bar

To prolong the life of your Dolores & Rose solid shampoo bar we recommend leaving it drying out on a soap dish away from water in between uses and allowing them to fully dry before locking it in a tin or container. You can leave the shampoo (or conditioner bar) standing upright in the tin to allow the air to circulate and dry the bar. We sell tins that fit these solid bars perfectly. This bar and tin combo is ideal as travel shampoo and conditioner.

HOW TO USE: Rub shampoo bar over the hair a few times to lather up then pop the bar aside (away from water). Gently massage hair and scalp as you would with a liquid shampoo rinse and repeat if required. Follow with the wonderfully softening Dolores & Rose solid conditioner bar.

About the Designer

Dolores and Rose was established by Jane and Caroline in 2019.

Jane has over 25 years hairdressing knowledge, owning hair and beauty salons, teaching and working with an extensive clientele.

A pipe dream was always to make her own products after seeing first-hand the chemicals that go into some hairdressing products and how people’s hair and skin reacted to them.  Since having her own children, she started to question even more what we were putting onto our skins. The plastic waste that she used to accumulate in the salons was also causing concern.

Caroline has 20 plus years’ experience delivering large programmes in global corporations.  In 2017 she decided she needed a change so moved back to her home county of Yorkshire and left the corporate world to follow a dream of starting her own business.  She wanted to do something meaningful that would make a difference.

Dolores and Rose began through a few casual conversations, where Caroline and Jane realised they shared a similar passion for starting a new adventure. To develop something of high quality that people would love, whilst also being planet friendly!

So here they are following their dream….
