These wooden shelves are made in solid wood with visible joints. They are handmade to order from a choice of four British hardwoods: Ash, Oak, Elm and Sycamore (see images). The rustic wooden shelves finished with hardwax oil. The wood comes from designer-maker John Eadon’s own family farm, making this a high quality sustainable furniture choice.
Visually light and showing the character of the wood, the open structure of these shelves lets light in and around the objects displayed, thus keeping the room light and open.
Perfectly suited to any room, the MIMA Scandinavian design style shelving come as individual shelving components to mix and match for a custom layout. A single bracket on its own can even function as a plant hanger.
