Magazine Rack Table – MIMA
The MIMA magazine rack table is a modern and elegant design, combining good looks and practicality.
An array of slender spindles connect the hexagonal base to the top, letting lots of light through. This results in an interesting array of shadows.
These splayed spindles are arranged around one half of the hexagon with some passing through the base as feet. The spindles make an ideal place to keep your favourite magazines and coffee table books. Two larger spindles support the other half of the hexagon, leaving an open part of the shelf for larger objects or plants.
All the spindles support the top, secured with visible wedged tenons that are very strong. This creates an interesting detail on the table top surface, showing the unique handcrafted nature of the product.
Approximate dimensions: H 52cm x W 53cm
